There is no source of darkness, only an absence of light. We enter a garden filled with natural light, a reflection of our true nature.

We feel deeply when we see someone else suffering. To be aware of what causes suffering, is the birth of compassion. This meditation is about showing our humanity for others, by first extending compassion to ourselves.

Self-Compassion is the doorway to Forgiveness.
The ability to forgive others rests in our ability to accept ourselves at the deepest levels. The necessity for forgiveness is merely a perception that there has been an expectation, that has gone unmet.

Transitions create movement in our lives and take us out of our comfort zone, so we can continue to grow. It takes courage to accept the inevitability of change, to see it as our wings, rather than as an anchor. This meditation focuses on allowing the flow of change in our lives, by letting go of our attachments and resistance, acknowledging there are always challenges and obstacles to surmount whenever we encounter change in our lives.

Everyone experiences loss, for it is a part of being human. Everyday losses, ungrieved losses, and losses such as death indicate the constant flow of impermance in the world around us. Feelings of loss don’t go away. They go deeper, allowing these wounds to inform our lives, unless we allow the healing process to run its full course. This meditation is a window into the
autumn of our lives, a phase of acute awareness of time passing, a time to grieve and remember.

It is a time of letting go, so we can heal.

Caution
This meditation explores the effects of loss through the emotion of grief. It is not recommended for those who have recently suffered a deep loss, or who are mourning a significant death. Please allow as much time as you need before listening, so you will have distance.

This meditation is a reminder of what you already know, when you are ready to hear it.
